Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis or Osteopenia ( a mild form of osteoporosis) is a medical condition in which the bones become fragile due to reduced bone density or deficiencies and malabsorption of important supplements, such as Calcium and Vitamin D.  During menopause, women become deficient in essential hormones that aid in bone building and maintenance.  As women age, they may lose up to 30% to 50% of their bone density.

Reduction of bone density increases risks of bone fractures.  Menopausal women are commonly at increased risk of develop a hip fracture, which may contribute to prolonged hospitalizations or even mortality.  At the Natural Hormone MedCenter, our treatment plan focuses on getting the right balanced natural hormones and supplements for you, to help you build and maintain healthier bones.
